Painting with Pierson - Fail Again, Fail Better
Feb 24, 2019
Hello True Art Believers,
This weeks live stream dealt with Fail again, Fail Better.
A quote I heard while in graduate school. I take it to mean that you should perceive every artwork you create as a failure. That is not to saying you should look at your work in a negative light, on the contrary, each failure is a positive, because with each failure there is growth.
As an artist you constantly seek growth, and the only way to grow is to actually see your mistakes. If you are blinded by them, then you will never improve yourself as an artist.
So I urge anyone who is an artist, or wanting to become better at something, to fail, fail again, fail better.
