Hello True Art Believers!
This week I have been working vigilantly on painting semi realistic cherries. It has been quite a challenge setting up the painting so I could have a proper base to work on my "cherries" I first started by applying a thin glass of red and green paint to work as an under painting. That way if I miss any part of my painted cherries I still have a green or red tone to compensate. Then I applied another thin glaze of greens and reds, separating the reds into three tones. Doing this will help me later on when I apply transitional value tones. Below are some progress photos of the cherries I have been working on.
